A Transformative Life Update
Welcome back to another episode of Redefining Motherhood!
I'm so grateful for your continued support and for being on this journey with me. In this episode, I'm providing a life update on what's been happening in my world. From my son turning two and how we’re managing a possible diagnosis with him, an update on both the career + health and fitness front, to an exciting announcement regarding this podcast—in this episode, get all the juicy updates on what’s going on behind the scenes and how I’m navigating life as of late.
Rebranding the Podcast
As I’ve been reflecting on life changes, I’ve also been thinking about the direction of this podcast. Redefining Motherhood has been such a powerful space for us to discuss all things related to motherhood. But as I grow and evolve, I’ve realized that the podcast needs to evolve too. So, I’m excited to announce that we’re rebranding to Redefining You. This change reflects where I am in my life right now and allows us to dive into a wider range of topics beyond motherhood—things like career growth, health and fitness, finances, and personal development.
Don’t worry—motherhood will still be a big part of the conversation, but I’m eager to explore these other aspects of life with you all as well. It’s all about becoming the best version of ourselves and embracing growth in every area of life. I want to hear from you too! Please share your thoughts on this rebrand. What do you think of the new direction? Are there any specific topics you’d love to hear about? Your feedback is so valuable to me as we move forward with this next chapter.
Career and Health Updates
On the career front, I’m finally starting to get my footing in my new role. It’s been about six months of learning and adjusting, and I have to admit that it’s been a bit of a challenge at times. But now, I’m feeling more confident and excited about what’s ahead. Career growth has been a huge focus for me, and I can’t wait to share more of that journey with you. I’ll be diving into strategies for career advancement, finding your footing in new roles, and how to continuously grow and evolve in your professional life.
Another area where I’ve been making strides is health and fitness. Since my son’s first birthday, I’ve completed five fitness challenges, and I’m proud to say I’ve maintained a consistent weight. I feel stronger and healthier than ever before, and I attribute a lot of that success to focusing on my overall well-being. I’ve also made a big change in my lifestyle by choosing to stop drinking since Memorial Day 2023. It’s been a game-changer for my health, energy, and overall outlook on life.
Personal Reflections and Future Plans
Looking back, I remember struggling so much with my weight in the past. It was always a constant battle, and I would yo-yo between different diets and fitness routines, never feeling truly consistent or at peace with my body. But something shifted over the past year. I’ve realized that taking care of myself, both physically and mentally, is non-negotiable. Stopping drinking was a huge part of that journey, and now, for the first time in a long time, I feel like I’ve found a balance that works for me. It’s not about perfection, but about making choices that support my well-being and long-term goals.
As we move forward with this podcast, I’m committed to keeping the conversation real and relatable. I want to hear from you—what are your thoughts on the rebrand? Do you have suggestions for topics or guests you’d love to see on the show? Your feedback helps this podcast continue to grow and evolve. If you haven’t yet, please take a moment to leave a review. It means the world to me and helps other people discover the podcast.
Thank you again for being here, for tuning in, and for supporting me as we reach this milestone. I’m so excited for what’s to come, and I can’t wait to continue this journey of growth and self-discovery with you all. Here’s to redefining ourselves, embracing change, and creating the lives we truly deserve!
